It will run over six consecutive Monday evenings, at St Margaret’s Lothbury EC2R 7HH.
Starting 15th February – 21st March 2016
5.45pm for dinner
6.20pm for worship, talk, discussion and prayer
Do let us know that you’d like to come by emailing us at email@example.com
A recent participant on the course said: ”It was great to meet other Christians in similar lines of work and to share the experiences and challenges we all face. The content is excellent and it’s certainly impacted me and helped me with my approach to work/life’‘
Live each day with purpose
We believe that God cares about our whole life, including our work. One of our passions is to encourage and equip people for their working lives, recognising that finding purpose at work is one of the greatest challenges in the world today.
Alpha’s workplace ministry is part based at St Sepulchre’s, and we are a hub for God at Work which seeks to offer practical and life changing solutions to inspire and help us live out our true purpose at work. Check out www.godatwork.org.uk for lots of helpful resources and films.
We run the new God at Work Conversations course, faith and work related discussion groups and work focused prayer meetings all with the purpose of equipping us for our daily lives.
There is a monthly prayer meeting focusing on our Workplaces and the businesses and workers around our church. This is on the first Thursday of each month at 8am. Followed directly by coffee at a near cafe. Come and join other workers to share and pray!
Our midweek services are also particularly aimed at busy local workers, with a drop-in/drop-out contemporary Tuesday lunchtime service (anytime 1-2pm) and a reflective Choral Evensong on Tuesdays at 6:30pm
