Worship

Worship is at the heart of our vision and ministry at St. Sepulchre’s. It is an expression of our greatest duty and joy as Christians to love God with all that we are (Mark12:30) and one of the main ways in which we encounter God. It is therefore a key priority for us.

We believe that worship is also particularly important in our context.  In the midst of the busyness and stress of the City, worship helps us to re-focus on God and seek his presence.

Worship is also central to our heritage as the Musicians’ Church and we seek to have musical excellence in all forms of worship.

On Sundays and Tuesday lunchtimes, we have contemporary band-led worship.  We are blessed to have a superb Contemporary Worship Pastor (Chris Stewart) and a skilled and enthusiastic band.

Our Tuesday Choral Evensong is a very different style, but with the same heart for worshipping God.  The worship is choir-led, with a wonderful selection of beautiful anthems, canticles and congregational hymns.

We also have a ‘come and sing’ Evensong on the first Tuesday of each month, which everyone is welcome to join the choir for.

If you are interested in finding out more about our worship, or think you have what it takes to join the band or the ‘come and sing’ choir, then fill out the webform below:
